IRS Debt Dropped from TENS of THOUSANDS, to THOUSANDS, to $24 DOLLARS
Dear Jaime:
We wanted to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to you and deep gratitude to The Good Lord for the excellent work and tax relief you were able to provide us.
When my husband and I were younger, he was self-employed and I worked for “regular” wages paying taxes as withheld from my paycheck. We had five children at home and it was all we could do to just keep our family fed and the bills paid.
Over the years, my husband’s self-employment and my one year of self-employment as a consultant mounted up to a CONSIDERABLE tax debt which we could not pay, having such a large family. It was ten’s of thousands of dollars.
For years I waited for the “hammer to fall”. We had taken every route we knew, filing honest tax returns, but unable to pay in full the taxes the government said we owed. We entered into a payment plan for the full amount IRS stated we owed, plus the accrued interest and penalties, on which we paid faithfully. However, when we could not pay the next year’s tax debt in full, it caused us to default on that payment plan.
A short time after that, my husband became unable to work. It got to the point that we quit filing tax returns at all, as every year our tax filing caused letters to come from IRS stating we owed more and more, due to the interest and penalties piling up.
A few months ago, the “hammer” (aka IRS) fell, demanding that my employer garnished my wages. IRS would have reduced my net income to way less than we could survive on. When I called IRS about the impending wage garnishment, the IRS representative told me that the point of the wage garnishment wasn’t to leave us enough to survive off of, but to pay our debt (plus interest and penalties) to the government.
In desperation, I contacted you and you worked with IRS for us. I, personally, did not have to deal with IRS at all when you went to work with us. You filed the several years of tax returns we did not file and told us that our debt to IRS, after all was said and done would be around $5,000.
Well, The Lord, working with you, gave us our miracle. The actual bottom line turned out to be that we owed the IRS slightly under $25. NOT tens of thousands of dollars, NOT $5,000, but less than $25.00.
Finally, we can be normal again!!! We can now file taxes and not have to worry about paying a debt the government said we owed, that we could NOT pay. I now CAN assist my daughter with going to college. If the need should ever arise, I and my husband will be able to obtain a passport(s) and travel abroad.
You can rest assured that, as long as we live and you continue in your tax practice, you will be the ONLY person who assists us with our annual tax return preparation.
You can also be sure that whoever we may encounter that has IRS issues, we will recommend you and tell them how your assistance help change our lives.
Again, we can’t tell you how much we appreciate your help
We thank our God repeatedly for bringing you into our lives!!!!
